Visualising complexities in a fragmented research ecosystem using a Milky Way map

Research data is the most valuable resource for research institutions, but support and infrastructure for good research data management is underdeveloped in Swedish academia, which is fragmented with actors with different driving forces. We outline our use of the enterprise architecture model the Milky Way to make sense of the complexities that define the research data management area in order to create a common understanding and facilitate service development for the researcher journey.
